Visit Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park: Atlanta’s famous MLK National Historic Park is a must-see attraction for history buffs. The MLK National Historic Park is a 35-acre park that honors the civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It’s free to visit and is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. In addition to the MLK Historic District, MLK’s birth home is also open to the public. The exhibit is 30 minutes long and is free.
