Meet The Team
Paul Wimpey is the owner operator of Morningside Plumbing Services. Paul started out as a plumbers helper when he was 14 years old in the summertime. After high school Paul was Service Manager for Keever Plumbing in Norcross, GA for 2 years. Paul’s family bought Morningside Plumbing in 1990 and Paul attended Gwinett Tech and Georgia Plumbing Institute where he earned his Masters Class 2 plumbing license in 1993. Paul managed the Student and Military housing department of Morningside Plumbing and became licensed and certified in Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. In 2013 after his brothers retirement Paul purchased the remaining shares in Morningside Plumbing and runs the day to day operations. Paul has been married to his wife Stephanie for 29 years and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Paul is enrolled at Luther Rice Seminary and currently pursuing a BARM degree. His passion is hunting, fishing and travel with his family.
Raul has worked with Morningside since 1996. Raul has supervised well over 5,000 apartment unit Rennovations. He led our polybutylene water line replacement team on properties across the Southeast. Since 2005 Raul has helped oversee the quality of our service department. He is an all around great asset to our company and our go to guy for tough jobs. His dedication and determination to get the job done right is one of the reasons for our success. Raul is married with 2 children and enjoys spending time with his family.
Corey Wimpey is a licensed journeyman plumber in the state of Georgia. Corey began his plumbing career in 2004 working on multi-family projects with his dad. Corey is also well rounded in the service area of the company and has a strong work ethic. Since then he has worked under the guidance of some of the industry’s best plumbers and organizations learning the trade. He has also attended a tradesman program for three years studying plumbing as an apprentice. He has 11 years of experience under his belt and is a vital part of our company. Corey lives in the Morningside area and is our go to tech for emergency service calls after normal business hours.
Cassie Barrett has worked in dispatch with Morningside Plumbing for over 5 years. She has been the Office Manager for the past 2 years. She loves working with people and making sure our customers are happy is her number one priority. She strives to make everyone’s experience with Morningside a pleasant one. Cassie is also responsible for payroll and all accounting. Cassie is active in her church and enjoys being a leader of their youth program. When she is not working, she is an active mother of 2 girls and enjoys spending all of her spare time with her family.
Teddi Lay has been dispatching plumbing and HVAC technicians for over 10 years. She has been a part of Morningside Plumbing for 6 years. Her dedication to customer service goes above and beyond. Teddi constantly gives ideas on how we can improve our customer service and implements these programs. Most times Teddi is the first person you speak with and the last. Teddi makes the process of relieving stress with our customers her number one priority. She does this with a phone call when we’re in route to the call and a text or email with a picture of your service tech. She also has a previous background in accounting and customer service. She enjoys helping people. She is passionate about her family and adores spending time with her 3 grandchildren. She also likes to cook and do a little gardening.
Filiberto Castro has worked with Morningside Plumbing since 2000. He has been responsible for numerous apartment Rennovations. He has ran our set out crew on over 5,000 units in the Atlanta area. He is now responsible for sewer and water repairs and replacements in our residential department. Filiberto is married with 3 children.
